Alli Fitz: My biggest musical influences are Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, and Zara Larsson!
Upcoming 100: When/How did you become interested in music?
Alli Fitz: Ever since I was little, thanks to my family always getting us musical instruments for birthdays and christmas
Upcoming 100: How does the song “When We're Together” set the stage for more songs from you?
Alli Fitz: It shows people that I can actually write music about that special someone, and not just always make music about moving on from the last person who hurt me.
Upcoming 100: What skills/personal attributes are most important to being successful?
Alli Fitz: I think you should always be consistent in your work and be on time for whatever it is you’re working towards.
Upcoming 100: How important do you think video or other visuals are to your music?
Alli Fitz: Videos are super important to my music because they can tell the story a little bit better, and make it more clear for those who didn’t understand it in the lyricism.
Upcoming 100: What do you hope to achieve with your art?
Alli Fitz: I hope one day millions of people are singing the lyrics to my songs with me while I’m onstage. That would be a dream come true!
Upcoming 100: What advice would you give to new artists entering the industry today?
Alli Fitz: Keep posting! Every week you should post something. Get your face out there. Make people talk! Also, there will be a lot of negative people on the internet, so make sure to have that really thick skin!
Upcoming 100: What sets your music apart? What is unique, or at least uncommon, about your sound and style?
Alli Fitz: I’m not sure haha, I’ve been told that my singing voice sounds almost exactly like my regular talking voice so maybe that makes me unique haha.
Upcoming 100: Has your music career/journey had a deliberate direction, or did it simply evolve organically?
Alli Fitz: I feel like it has evolved organically because I had to convince people over and over again that I’m not just this “social media influencer” with my music. And finally I have this organic fan base that has faith in me, and my journey!
