Upcoming 100: Can you tell us about your biggest musical influences and how they shape your sound?

RAA Trey:
 I would have to say lil Wayne, 2Pac, J Cole .
 
Upcoming 100: What does your songwriting process look like? Do you start with lyrics, melody or an idea?

RAA Trey:
 It really depends on my mood I can write or freestyle n go back over it.

Upcoming 100: Are there recurring themes or messages in your music that you aim to convey to your listeners?

RAA Trey:
 Nothing in particular I just want my listeners to hear what I’m saying but feel it in their own way.

Upcoming 100: What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced in your music career and how have you overcome them?

RAA Trey:
 Sometimes I feel like my location is a problem because it’s not a music scene in Mississippi but i overcome it my keep working and grinding.
 
Upcoming 100: How do you approach collaborations with other artists? Is there anyone you dream of working with?

RAA Trey:
 Collaborating is a simple process for me cuz Im down to work with anyone who has a good sound and like mines and as far as for big artists I would love to work with Kevin Gates.
 
Upcoming 100: What do you enjoy most about performing live and how does it differ from recording in the studio?

RAA Trey:
 What I love the most is the people that come to see me and the people and their reactions is what’s different from the studio.
 
Upcoming 100: How has your music evolved over the years and where do you see it heading in the future?

RAA Trey:
 My music has grown tremendously because of a lot of reasons but I’ve gotten older and my music has mature with time and work.
 
Upcoming 100: How do you connect with your fans and what role do they play in your artistic journey?
 
RAA Trey: Because I’m an upcoming artist it very easy to connect and bond to my fan but my fan play a very important part in my music journey without my fans im NOTHING.
 
Upcoming 100: How do you feel about the changes in the music industry, especially with the rise of streaming platforms and social media?
 
RAA Trey: I like it but if we are being honest we got to like it the audience controls what goes and  don’t go in the industry so I like it’s all a good thing and I feel like this is the new permanent way.
 
Upcoming 100: Can you share any details about upcoming projects or releases that fans can look forward to?

RAA Trey:
 I have a song dropping this month called “Stamp Da Game” and on February 14 I have a song called “300 Roses” coming out.
