Staff: Who are your biggest musical influences?
Dolla Bill:
Judas Priest, Rainbow, The Doors, Billy Joel, Jackson Brown, Jim Croce, Dre, Dime P, Excalibur, Fat Joe, Eminem, Ice-T, Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott

Staff: When/How did you become interested in music?
Dolla Bil
l: I became interested in music when I was twelve years listening to the pop music of the time on my older sister's vinyl records.

Staff: How does this song "House On The Hill" differ with your previous song?
Dolla Bill:
It differs in that I use spoken word, melody and lo-fi rap to deliver the vocal elements of the song. I fuse romance with hip hop in this piece.

Staff: What skills/personal attributes are most important to being successful?
Dolla Bill:
Attention to craft, willingness to listen, edit, remix and re-invent. Time, work, energy, money, passion, dedication and commitment. Tempered expectations.

Staff: How important do you think video is to your music?
Dolla Bill:
It's very important because visuals draw listeners not just into the song but give another perspective or dimension to listening/visual experience.

Staff: What did you hope to achieve with your music video?
Dolla Bill:
To engage listeners/viewers on a different level than just an audio rendering of the song performance.

Staff: How would you describe your new video to any potential new fan?
Dolla Bill
: Think about the album cover art("outside the house"), listen to song, watch the video("inside the house"). There's two perspectives or scenes that take place during the rendering of both audio and video.

Staff: What set your music apart? What is unique, or at least uncommon?
Dolla Bill:
I would say it's my voice, writing style and pooling influences into my writing or creative experience. I don't hear music that's really like mine anywhere. It's different. It's also subjective and might not be for everybody.

Staff: Has your music career journey had a deliberately direction or did it simply gradually evolve in whatever direction it found?
Dolla Bill:
Based on the different genres of music I've released, I would say my music career journey has evolved more as a stream of consciousness or has taken on a life of its own. I could be doing hip hop/r&b today. Tomorrow, I might be putting down a country track. That's how it works sometimes.

Staff: Where can potential fans find out more about you?
