Music's Week Staff: Who are your biggest musical influences?
Spendit:
2pac, Lil wayne, Eminem, Drake

Music's Week Staff: When/How did you become interested in music?
Spendit:
I began making music in high school, but I did not take it seriously until after graduation. The reason for this was that it was not something I wanted to invest in. I had always like music because my brother "akaey" was always making it around me, and it grew on me. After high school, I started recording and realized I sounded great, and I've never looked back.

Music's Week Staff: How does this song "Hold Up" differ with your previous song?
Spendit: This song sounds unique because of how it was approached; grace was my first song, and I was learning how to open out to the world. "Hold up" made me feel more at ease and allowed me to express myself more freely.

Music's Week Staff: What skills/personal attributes are most important to being successful?
Spendit:
In the rap game, being adaptable to diverse beats, and bouncing back from setbacks, grinding with relentless dedication are what I feel are going to pave the way to my success.

Music's Week Staff: How important do you think video is to your music?
Spendit: The music video is crucial because it is my vision, but I would like to leave it up to my fans' imaginations to imagine what the video might look like from their perspective.

Music's Week Staff: What did you hope to achieve with your music video?
Spendit: I'm aiming to show the world who spendit truly is, providing them a vision of who they're listening to.

Music's Week Staff: How would you describe your new video to any potential new fan?
Spendit:
It's a “VIBE”

Music's Week Staff: What set your music apart? What is unique, or at least uncommon?
Spendit:
My unique experience distinguishes my music from others. As of right now, I'm still laying out my road.

Music's Week Staff: Has your music career journey had a deliberately direction or did it simply gradually evolve in whatever direction it found?
Spendit:
My music career just started last year, so it's still in its jump phase.
