Joyous Lola: I felt like God was calling me into gospel music industry after having encounters with Jesus

Joyous Lola: My inspiration is the HolySpirit

MusicWeek Staff: How did you come up with "Joyous Lola"?
Joyous Lola: That was the name Gid wanted me to use, Lola is my given name at birth but Joyous was given to me by God

MusicWeek Staff: How would you describe your work style?
Joyous Lola: My music is gospel in style of smoothjazz and r&b

MusicWeek Staff: Where did you get your inspiration for your music?
Joyous Lola: My inspiration comes from the Holy Spirit

MusicWeek Staff: What story behind the song "We Worship You"?
Joyous Lola: The song was given to inspire people to praise and worship God regardless of our circumstances, and to remind us of how good and kind God is towards each one of us

MusicWeek Staff: How important do you think video is to your music?
Joyous Lola: I think video usually complements your music because people can see who is singing and they can relate more with what you are saying and the importance of the song

MusicWeek Staff: What was it about your music video that enticed you?
Joyous Lola: I like everything about the music video, i also like the live performance with the live instrumentalists

MusicWeek Staff: Do you take the context of the song in consideration when creating the video? Why/Why not?
Joyous Lola: Yes i do take the context of the song into consideration when creating the video but i go with the direction of the holy spirit as to what way to go about the video
