The Voodoo Soul: It’s all I’ve ever wanted to do. After feeling it slip away years ago. I found myself searching for purpose. Music kept me from feeling depressed gave my life meaning.

MusicWeek Staff: What inspires you to be in the music industry?
The Voodoo Soul: Musics ability To bring people together. Collaboration, the want to pursue my best self.

MusicWeek Staff: How did you come up with "The Voodoo Soul"?
The Voodoo Soul: Voodoo Chile Slight Return, Jimi Hendrix’s influence over guitar and musicianship.

MusicWeek Staff: How would you describe your work style?
The Voodoo Soul: Free flowing, uninhibited, soulful, reflective.

MusicWeek Staff: Where did you get your inspiration for your music?
The Voodoo Soul: Everyday lifer, other people’s experiences, story’s, social justice, mindfulness .

MusicWeek Staff: What story behind the song "Breakthrough"?
The Voodoo Soul: It’s a song about giving back to those who help you and stay with you through the hard parts on the road to success. 

MusicWeek Staff: How important do you think video is to your music?
The Voodoo Soul: Its integral in as much as it helps reach people who love that medium. 

MusicWeek Staff: What was it about your music video that enticed you?
The Voodoo Soul: Telling a story through the video. Bringing the meaning in the visual medium. 

MusicWeek Staff: Do you take the context of the song in consideration when creating the video? Why/Why not?
The Voodoo Soul: Yes absolutely. I try t in match the story to the songs
