MusicWeek Staff: What made you realize that music was your path?
livinthemomnt: Music has always been my one true love. I’ve been singing since I was a child & I knew I’d never genuinely be fulfilled until I forged my own path. I am very excited  for what’s next on this journey.

MusicWeek Staff: How will you describe your music to people?
livinthemomnt: I would describe it as alternative soul.

MusicWeek Staff: What are your thoughts on the evolution of an artist and the evolution of music today?
livinthemomnt: I feel everyone’s evolution is different. We all are influenced by our experiences day to day & it appears in our music. I love the direction music is headed in currently & I feel there is no better time to become an artist.

MusicWeek Staff: Describe your experience recording the song "ready to liv"?
livinthemomnt: Ready to Liv is a very special song to me. Of course it also is the album title so I wanted the song to represent what the album encompasses. It tells a story of two separate relationships that are both insufficient in their respective ways. On one hand you have a relationship where everything is stable financially yet there’s infidelity concerns. Then the second verse speaks on a relationship that is not financially stable but the love is there. Ultimately you realize you have to choose yourself & accept what’s taken place to ultimately do what’s best for yourself.

MusicWeek Staff: What are your music goals for this year, and how are you working towards achieving them?
livinthemomnt: This year I’m looking to release the second project Act II in the 4th quarter of this year.Prior to that release I plan to continue to market Ready to Liv. We just shot the first video for the single Ready to Liv & that should be releasing later this month/early September.

MusicWeek Staff: What was the creative approach for this new video?
livinthemomnt: My executive producer Alex Alexander & I co-wrote the treatment for the music video after writing the song. We shot the video last week & I am SUPER EXCITED with how it came out. We are still waiting on the final edit but this visual will provide a glimpse into the artistry we are going to continue to evoke in our work. I can wait to share it with the world!

MusicWeek Staff: How important do you think video is to your music?
livinthemomnt: Personally I feel it’s extremely important to my work. I am aware of the ideology that the art of the music video is dying & that it is cheaper/easier to do reels or shorts, but my art is important to me. I want to look back at my contribution to music & know I gave it everything I had. I don’t make art to be successful I make art because it’s my true passion & I don’t plan on short changing myself nor my audience.

MusicWeek Staff: Are you already working on a new music? If so, can you tell us something about it?
livinthemomnt: I am back in the studio this month creating for my next project. I can tell you it will be a continuation of Act 1 & it will provide more insight into life as I know it.

MusicWeek Staff: Where can potential fans find out more about you?
livinthemomnt: I am on all social media platforms @livinthemomnts my music is available on all streaming platforms @livinthemomnt.
