Max B Drops Long Awaited ‘Negro Spirituals’ Album

Influential hip-hop artist Max B is back today with the release of his long awaited new album Negro Spirituals available now across all digital streaming platforms via The Orchard.

Listen to the 14-track album, which features notable guest spots from French Montana, Raheem DeVaughn, and Giggs as well as production from frequent collaborators Paul Couture, Masar, DJ Elyes, VIP Beats, Robbie Anthem, and Angelo Bombay.

On the inspiration behind his new album, Max B shares, “When I made this album it was at a time when I had no plans of doing music. So I had to really dig deep for the content. My inspiration came from my incarceration. When the slaves would work on the plantation’s they would come up with these harmonies, these melodies and gospel and they would sing through their oppression.”
