Music's Week Staff: What made you decide to pursue a career in music?
Kaycee B:
I’ve always made music a legend before I was actually “making music” I’ve always loved doing it! It has always felt very natural to me!

Music's Week Staff: What kind of artist/singer would you classify yourself as?
Kaycee B:
I would consider myself a pop/soul/rnb artist but I feel that my music sometimes contains elements from all over.

Music's Week Staff: What do you feel is the best song you’ve ever released? Why?
Kaycee B:
My personal favorite song is definitely falling in love. It just hits the soul right for me!

Music's Week Staff: What set your music apart? What is unique, or at least uncommon?
Kaycee B:
I feel that some of the elements I use can be considered eerie. I use some harmonies and tones you wouldn’t expect within the style I do.

Music's Week Staff: What story behind the song "I Am Me”?
Kaycee B:
“I Am Me” came to me really fast! I was pressed to record and I knew I wanted to do more and I felt that I valued myself more in my music than I ever had. I had a spark of confidence!

Music's Week Staff: How does this song "I Am Me" differ with your previous song?
Kaycee B:
I am me is a lot faster paced than a lot of my other songs. It has a very synth pop sound.

Music's Week Staff: How will you describe your music to people?
Kaycee B:
I would describe it at as rnb/pop/ soul with a lot of alternative vibes and a wide feel for emotions!

Music's Week Staff: Has your music career journey had a deliberately direction or did it simply gradually evolve in whatever direction it found?
Kaycee B:
This is an interesting question because my music itself has evolved ALOT and developed over time and I am very proud of that! My career has been somewhat deliberate although some things just kind of happened to start me out. I am moving with intention though and working in a direction at this point!

Music's Week Staff: What is your advice for upcoming artists or songwriters wanting to follow your footsteps?
Kaycee B:
My advice would be to make sure they have their songs organized correctly and that they make sense. I also would suggest to never purchase YouTube beats!

Music's Week Staff: Where can potential fans find out more about you?
Kaycee B:
People can find out more about me and follow me on here on my Linktree
