Music's Week: What made you decide to pursue a career in music?

Hammaz: My love for music is number 1…My natural ability to make party music & to tell stories is another.

Music's Week: What inspires you to be in the music industry?

Hammaz: All the success stories inspire me, I know my music is as good or even better, so I’m confident in my abilities.

Music's Week: How did you come up with "Hammaz"?

Hammaz: The neighborhood I grew up in ( Cash Ave ) they named me.

Music's Week: How would you describe your work style?

Hammaz: My work style is relaxed,rhythmic & full of vibes…style usually depends on the mood.

Music's Week: Where did you get your inspiration for your music?

Hammaz: My inspiration comes from my experiences & traveling…traveling opened me up to different styles and sounds & being a student to the game; I’m naturally gravitating to it.

Music's Week: What story behind the song "Shitz"?

Hammaz: Shitz is frontline music,bring it to ya front door type shit…standing on business ! It’s the perfect track for making a return.

Music's Week: How important do you think video is to your music?

Hammaz: Video are essential to story telling & that’s what music is…is always a plus to have visuals to match your story.

Music's Week: What was it about your music video that enticed you?

Hammaz: The ladies, the energy, the locations and the transitions… overall, it was a solid video.

Music's Week: Do you take the context of the song in consideration when creating the video? Why/Why not?

Hammaz: Always, if not then it’s pointless to do a video…in order to affectively get your point or story across, it is important that the video match the song.
