Sombr has officially been added as the newest act confirmed to perform at the 2026 BRIT Awards.

The ceremony is scheduled for next Saturday February 28 and will take place at Co op Live in Manchester. It marks the first time in the event’s 50 year history that it has been staged outside of London.

Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, HUNTR/X’s EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson, Alex Warren and Rosalía have already been revealed as performers for the night.

Now, on Thursday February 19, Sombr has also been announced as part of the performance line up. He is up for International Artist of the Year as well as International Song of the Year for his track ‘Undressed’.

“I’m so honoured to be performing at the iconic BRIT Awards,” he said. “I am so thankful to everyone who has supported me this past year. I love the UK and all the British people, it’s my second home!”

The news follows a major run of success for the New York singer songwriter in 2026. He has already received a Best New Artist nomination at this year’s Grammys and previously won Best Alternative at the MTV VMAs.

Those recognitions arrived shortly after the release of his debut album ‘I Barely Know Her’ in August.

The record earned four stars from NME, which called it an “album driven by heartache” and “a gloriously dynamic record that’s less about misery and more about catharsis. It’s sad boy indie with a smirk.”

His appearance at the BRITs comes while he is currently on tour across the UK and Europe, with dates in London, Manchester, Birmingham and other cities. Visit here to buy remaining tickets.

For the 2026 BRITs, Jack Whitehall will return as host for the sixth time. The trophy for this year has also been revealed, created by Matthew Williamson and drawing inspiration from Manchester.

Jacob Alon has been named the winner of the 2026 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award. Among the most nominated artists this year are Olivia Dean, former NME Cover star Lola Young, Sam Fender, Lily Allen and rapper Jim Legxacy.

Additional honourees include Mark Ronson, who will receive the Outstanding Contribution to Music award, and Noel Gallagher, who has been recognised as ‘Songwriter Of The Year’.

The ceremony will air on ITV1 in the UK, and performances will be available globally via YouTube. Check out a full list of nominees here.
