Meek Mill is back with a fresh freestyle titled "In My Eyes." On the track, the Philadelphia native fires shots at his rivals, flexes his success, reflects on the pressures that come with fame, and more. Early reactions have been strong, with fans showing support in the comments.

"Put some respect on this man’s name," one YouTube user wrote. "THE REAL FANS WAS ALREADY BANGING SNIPPETS OF THIS shout to meek, for releasing something the streets needed," another added. A third commented, "This is EXACTLY why Meek is in my top 10 of greatest emcees of all time! Love it."

The freestyle adds to a run of recent releases from Meek. Over the past month, he has dropped the "Head High" freestyle, the "Victory" freestyle, and a track titled "600 Racks." It also comes as fans continue to call for a new album. Back in March, Meek confirmed on Twitter that a project is on the way, though an official release date has not been revealed yet.

Charlamagne Tha God Criticizes Meek Mill

While many listeners are celebrating Meek Mill’s longevity, not everyone agrees on his trajectory. During a recent episode of The Brilliant Idiots, Charlamagne Tha God suggested that Meek’s career never fully rebounded after his high profile feud with Drake.

Meek responded quickly, addressing the claim in a heated post online.

“Since Drake beef I drop tap 3x platinum… peta double platinum… blue notes 1 and 2 platinum… uptown vibes with legend from Brooklyn fab platinum… what’s free feat jayz meek mill I think it’s plat… fck on me ft cardi b platinum,” he wrote. “How far we came… he actually switched up on drake because he helped power the meek was done narrative was done… now he’s using the same against drake… im good with drake and jayz as far as I know… keep me out this weak a** sht.”
