CHICAGO - Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, 2FVCE24 is a hardcore rapper who continues to expand his discography and hip-hop skills with each song. 2FVCE24’s latest single, “No Bap,” is a testament to the man who survived growing up in poverty and living on the streets.
With an Atlanta-based sound, “No Bap” has a baby-type beat and hard riveting direct bars with a straight punch. “‘No Bap’ is me taking no bullshit in this rap game,” said 2FVCE24. “I’ve waited long enough for my turn. Now I’m doing what I need to do because I am a threat in this game.”
As an independent artist, 2FVCE24 has paid his dues, and with his debut album, “Oceans,” he is proving he’s a contender in the industry.
“I do rap wavy. It’s like waves and music to me,” said 2FVCE24. “It correlates with the ‘Oceans’ album artwork. I feel as if my heart is as big as the ocean. If the ocean can be this big around the whole world, so can my love for this music thing. I don’t know what is more soothing than the ocean and hearing it with your head on the sand and catching a breeze.”
One of the Chicago native’s favorite tracks on “Oceans” is “Audi Home.” The song centers around violence spurred by mental illness. “The song is about letting you know that you are not alone, but it all starts with you,” he said.
Influenced by the culture and essence of hip hop that began on the East Coast, 2FVCE24 said, “I tended to rap because these guys were saying crazy stuff, and I couldn’t believe it. If they could do that, I could. I’m a real rapper. I’m the essence of hip hop.”
Like many growing up in low-funded communities riddled with poverty, 2FVCE24 is a product of his environment and what he did for survival. 2Face24’s lyrics take you on a tour of his childhood and life. With a melodic flow, an aggressive attack on verses, and bars on bars, 2FVCE24 is in a lane of his own. Using his music to bring attention to social inequality, 2FVCE24 strives to bring happiness back to music and love to the world.
Not resting on his laurels, 2FVCE24 stretched his artistic style in an upcoming single, “Members.” Set to drop on Feb. 24, the track is a drill perfection. “This is Chicago drill music at its finest. It is beautiful,” he said. “This is one of the hardest songs that I ever created. Bar for bar, it really shows my growth and shows my flexibility.”
As a rising artist in the hip-hop scene, 2FVCE24 sets the bar high for himself. Aside from his passion for music, he is a skilled freestyle rapper with tight cyphers and versatility in all hip-hop styles. 2FVCE24 can ride any tempo and finesse any beat, unlike anyone.
