Singer/Songwriter/Producer ChiMoHe Drops Instrumental Dance Music That’s Party Ready

MANCHESTER, NH - Electronic music accompanied by vocals is coming back in mainstream music. ChiMoHe is taking the reins as a rising artist in the current movement.

Gaining inspiration from the 90s rave scene in the New England area, ChiMoHe successfully recreates those vibes in his current music, exposing a new audience to rave music. “I would go and listen to different DJs and just dance,” explained ChiMoHe. “I like the style of music that they played at the clubs, and I want to emulate them. Those were some of the best times in my life.”

I played the melody, and it got stuck in my head. When I woke up the next morning, it all came to me.”

“Morning Ambiance” evokes many dynamic emotions depending on the listener’s mood. With haunting overtures and a mellow-like undercurrent, ChiMoHe captures waking up to a new day while having pieces of yesterday remaining.

Stepping back and looking at the entire music industry, ChiMoHe’s “Generic as a MF” has a rhythm that just does not stop. Its electronic inspired lyrics connect the track into a commentary on today’s music as ChiMoHe’s lyrics poke fun at the generic nature of today’s music.

“Tossed A Dime” is perhaps ChiMoHe’s deepest lyrical complication. According to the singer/songwriter, the track was inspired by a local guy who plays at the nearby bar during open mic night. “He had a style that I liked with a bit more country sound. But the song is still electronic because it is made with a synthesizer and digital audio drum tracks. I also like the homeless guy on the street that sells art instead of panhandling. Metaphorically speaking, I tossed him a dime.”

Even though ChiMoHe has authored several books, his real love is music. “I just try to make music that makes me happy. I hope others enjoy it too. You know the best compliment I ever heard on my music is, ‘I’d like to hear that again.’ I thought that was a great thing to hear,” he said.
