UEENS, NY – With catchy hooks, witty verses, and lively vibes, Christina Fuego’s debut album, Hustler’s Ambition” is packed with must-hear hip hop songs.

“If I rap it, I wrote it,” said Christina Fuego. “What sets me apart from others is that I’m making music that’s as relatable as possible. I’m just a regular girl, and I go through stuff in life just like everyone. So, my music is relatable to other people in my age range from late teens to early twenties.”

At nine, the New York native began listening to rap legends like 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Tupac, and Eminem. After falling in love with the hip-hop genre, she started writing lyrics at 17. Knowing that music was her future, she worked two jobs to save enough money to buy studio gear; thus, Fuego, the feisty, determined hip hop artist, was born.

Establishing her style, Fuego takes different beats and combines them to create a bouncy club-like vibe in all her music. This versatility in sound and Fuego’s style is reflected in “Hustler’s Ambition,” her debut album.

“I specifically took songs from my volumes of work that were different from each other,” she explained. “I was trying to be as versatile as possible and just see what different types of beats and flows were created.”

While “Hustler’s Ambition” contains six tracks, Fuego’s library of yet-to-be-released songs number in the hundreds. Previously she has dropped singles, but this album is her first collection of songs and demonstrates her staying power in the industry as a rising independent artist.

Displaying her versatile chops, “Crush On U,” “Trendsetter,” and “Came From” are three songs destined to be fan favorites. Since “Hustler’s Ambition” was released on Jan. 28, Fuego’s reach has grown on streaming platforms.

“Crush On U” is a club song that grinds out Fuego’s bouncy and energetic vibes. With sexual lyrics and overtones, “Crush On U” allows Fuego to explore her ultra-femininity through a provocative, horny, and confident vibe.

“Trendsetter” is packed with metaphors and high-quality rap that harkens back to the old school sounds LL Cool J and Nicki Minaj. Crafting hard-hitting lyrics, Fuego’s cocky self-assurance is on full display in the album’s lead single.

Shifting to her emotional side, “Came From” is a dynamic and personal song straight from Fuego’s heart. “When I wrote it, I was talking about how people judge me and feeling outcast and alienated. I have felt isolated a lot in my life,” she explained.

Realizing that many people have the same feelings, she plans to release future emotional songs with her straightforward and bold style. “My creative process is that I put on a beat, and I just write. Music is like my diary,” she said.

Fuego’s story continues outside of music in your business venture, Essence of Fuego. As an entrepreneur, she created an online store featuring women’s clothing for all shapes and sizes. The casual and dress attire promises to be unapologetically sexy, smart, and affordable.

Fuego may seem like she’s just another cocky rapper on the surface. But deep within her lyrics lies the real Christina Fuego, a rare depth for a young person.

“A lot of my rap is tongue and check type, but there’s a lot more to come. There are not a lot of female artists who sound like me. I want to go deeper into in-depth topics. It’s not all about cocky stuff and club records,” she explained. “Music makes life easier, and it makes me feel like myself.”
