MusicsWeek: As a successful businesswoman, how do you manage work-life balance while also promoting well-being in your advice to others?

Ana Vilhete: As a businesswoman, I believe that managing work-life balance is crucial for not only maintaining my well-being but also for achieving long-term success in both my personal and professional life.

One of the key strategies I use to maintain this balance is setting clear boundaries between work and personal time. I make a conscious effort to prioritize self-care activities such as exercise, meditation, and spending quality time with my loved ones. This helps me recharge and stay focused when I am working, which ultimately leads to increased productivity and overall well-being.

In my advice to others, I always emphasize the importance of taking care of oneself first. I encourage individuals to set realistic goals and expectations for themselves, delegate tasks when necessary, and to not be afraid to ask for help when needed. I also stress the importance of finding activities outside of work that bring joy and fulfillment, as this can help reduce stress and improve overall happiness.

Ultimately, promoting a healthy work-life balance and well-being is not only beneficial for individuals personally but can also lead to increased success in the workplace. By prioritizing self-care and setting boundaries, individuals can achieve greater levels of productivity, creativity, and overall satisfaction in both their personal and professional lives.

Ana Vilhete: Being featured on platforms like "Good Morning Britain" and BBC radio has definitely helped increase brand visibility and credibility for my business. The exposure has allowed me to reach a wider audience and establish myself as an authority in my industry.

The role of media in building a business is crucial. Media coverage can significantly boost a brand's reputation, credibility, and visibility. It helps build trust with customers and can attract new opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and growth.

However, it is also important to carefully manage media relationships and be strategic in choosing the right platforms to align with your brand values and target audience. Consistent and positive media coverage can help in creating brand recognition and loyalty, which are essential for long-term business success.

It means being able to inspire and impact others positively, and having a platform to voice my opinions and perspectives on important issues. Ultimately, recognition as a public personality will allow me to have a greater reach and influence, and to make a difference in the world.
