MusicsWeek: Can you share the inspiration behind your EP "Maze"? What themes did you want to explore?
JustHutch: My toxic relationships.
MusicsWeek: How has your music evolved since you first started and what do you think has influenced that evolution the most?
JustHutch: My team & solid team good Engineer who have your back.
MusicsWeek: What has been the most challenging part of your journey as a musician, and how did you overcome it?
JustHutch: Being alone at the top, nobody to talk too. Having close people you worked with stab you in the back directors Enginneer etc.
MusicsWeek: Collaboration can be a powerful part of the creative process. Can you tell us about a memorable collaboration you’ve had and what you learned from it?
JustHutch: Drum intro - led me being an artist , my two good friends on that track playing guitar and bass from Berklee college of music - bassist from Italy - we were jamming didn’t know we were recording I wrote over that a year later and here I am as a artist as well as a drummer - I didn’t really know who I wanted to give that rough too before my vocals I sat with it in the vault for a year and wrote to it.
MusicsWeek: How do you approach songwriting? Do you have a specific process or routine when it comes to creating new music?
JustHutch: Either I write to the beat sometimes it just comes to my head.
MusicsWeek: In an age of digital streaming and social media, how do you see the role of musicians changing and what does that mean for your career?
JustHutch: More opportunities to showcase our music you have to embrace the new is what I’m trying to do .
MusicsWeek: What messages or emotions do you hope listeners take away from your music?
JustHutch: You can do anything you you put your mind too.
MusicsWeek: Can you talk about a performance that stands out in your memory? What made it so special or impactful for you?
JustHutch: Peppermint club, was cool - haven’t got any shows for being a artist yet still growing , this year I’m chasing that in 2025 new ep on the way
MusicsWeek: What advice would you give to emerging artists trying to make a name for themselves in the music industry?
JustHutch: Just keep going do it for the right reasons and it will align for you
MusicsWeek: Looking ahead, what goals do you have for your career and where do you see yourself in the next five years?
JustHutch: Focusing on the now.
