With Drake getting ready to release ICEMAN on May 15, the buzz around the project is building fast. There is already speculation that he might surprise fans with a single or even a short EP sometime this week. At this stage, it feels like supporters are ready to take anything he drops.
As usual with a Drake rollout, his official site tends to hint at what is coming next. The “Drake Related” website has a history of shifting its design to match each album era, often becoming the hub for merch, vinyl, and tour announcements.
Until recently, the site had been quiet. But as noted by Kurrco, it has now been refreshed to match the ICEMAN theme. The updated visuals show Drake’s Toronto mansion, known as The Embassy, completely frozen over. Fans can click through different rooms, all styled with icy details and frozen textures.
At the moment, there is nothing available for purchase on the site. That said, it is widely expected that merch and other drops will be added in the coming days.
During a recent livestream, DJ Akademiks strongly hinted that Drake could release something on May 5. He suggested that the move would catch a lot of people off guard, even saying parts of hip hop media would not see it coming. Whether that prediction turns out to be accurate is still unclear.
There is also growing talk that Drake could return with Scary Hours 4 ahead of ICEMAN. If that happens, it would set the tone perfectly, considering how well his previous Scary Hours releases have been received.
With less than two weeks to go, the final stretch of this rollout is shaping up to be a big moment. This marks Drake’s first solo album in over two years, so expectations are high. With hip hop looking for a major chart moment right now, many are hoping he delivers another standout hit.
