Janet Jackson has unveiled plans for a major UK performance this summer, with Wyclef Jean and Soul II Soul joining her as special guests.

Earlier this year, the music icon hinted that fans could expect something special in 2026, and she has now confirmed a one night appearance at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk this August.

Jackson is set to headline the Wednesday evening slot on August 19 as part of the 2026 HeritageLive Festival. Joining her on the lineup that day will be former Fugees star Wyclef Jean and celebrated British R&B group Soul II Soul.

Pre-sale tickets are available today, June 2, while the general ticket sale begins at 9am on June 3. Fans will be able to purchase tickets here.

The rest of the HeritageLive Festival schedule at the historic royal estate includes Lionel Richie on August 20, Ricky Martin on August 22 and Eric Clapton on August 23.

Giles Cooper of HeritageLive Festival said: "We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Janet Jackson to our 2026 line-up at Sandringham Estate. HeritageLive has always aimed to present the very biggest global artists in special settings. Janet is genuine music royalty: a performer whose influence, catalogue and live reputation span generations."

"To have an artist of her stature performing in such a prestigious and historic setting promises something really exceptional, and we know it will be an unforgettable night for everyone there."

Last month, Jackson's 1989 landmark album "Rhythm Nation 1814" was officially inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. She accepted the honour alongside longtime collaborator and co-producer Terry Lewis.

"As we celebrate tonight, let’s remember that it transcends all borders, nationalities, and faiths," she said. "When you hear the music of ‘Rhythm Nation’, I hope you hear my heart‘s desire when we first created this suite of songs. More than ever, my hope is that we might live in a world free of fear and despair."

Jackson has not released a studio album since 2015's "Unbreakable", though her earlier comments about exciting plans for this year have fuelled speculation that new music could be on the horizon.

She also recently chose not to be portrayed in the upcoming biographical film about her brother Michael Jackson, according to comments made by her sister La Toya.

The movie, titled "Michael", arrived in UK cinemas in April and follows Michael Jackson's journey from his beginnings with the Jackson Five through to the height of his fame after the release of the album "Bad". The late singer is portrayed by his nephew Jaafar Jackson, and the production was created with the support of Michael Jackson's estate.
