DJ Akademiks Reacts After Charlamagne Tha God Calls For A Live Talk

As two of hip hop's most outspoken media personalities, DJ Akademiks and Charlamagne Tha God have spent years taking shots at one another. Their opposing views on artists such as Drake and Jay Z have only deepened that divide, turning their disagreements into an ongoing media rivalry.

Much of the recent tension has centered on Akademiks TV, a platform reportedly operated by George Nguyen, also known as Grand Wizard Chat. The page has been linked to allegations involving cryptocurrency schemes, stream botting, and reports surrounding claims about The Breakfast Club host. In response, DJ Akademiks has accused Charlamagne Tha God of having financial connections to Roc Nation and being influenced by Jay Z.

The latest chapter in the feud unfolded after Charlamagne publicly invited Akademiks to have a live conversation. During a livestream clip shared by 2Cool2Blog on Instagram, Akademiks accepted the invitation.

According to Akademiks, Charlamagne is trying to strengthen his influence within the media landscape, and he suggested they would not have issues if he openly supported Democratic politics. He also argued that Charlamagne has failed to provide evidence supporting the Stake and cryptocurrency scam allegations connected to Nguyen. Akademiks said he is ready to sit down and "talk about it all," adding that he wants to ask Charlamagne why he remains focused on those accusations while previously backing Hov's Times Square casino proposal.

"I've been trying to talk about it... Publicly," DJ Akademiks expressed. He painted this all as hypocrisy and posited Jay is influencing Charlamange.

DJ Akademiks' Beef With Charlamagne Tha God

Charlamagne Tha God has already mocked DJ Akademiks over the Roc Nation accusations, but that was only part of the ongoing exchange between the two media figures.

In another livestream clip shared by CY Chels on Twitter, Akademiks criticized what he described as Charlamagne's "bullst a" approach to the unverified cryptocurrency scam allegations involving Grand. He maintained that no actual crime had taken place and argued that repeated attempts to damage their reputation have been unsuccessful.

Akademiks also claimed that all the controversy has only motivated Nguyen to push Akademiks TV even harder in its criticism of Charlamagne Tha God. He further alleged that Charlamagne has blocked him on his personal Instagram account.

Only time will tell whether the feud eventually cools off or continues to escalate. Even if the two eventually sit down for a live discussion, it appears unlikely that either side will convince the other. At this stage, both have firmly established their positions, and neither seems interested in backing away from the conflict.
