Hendrix Harris Unveils His Serious EP ‘Horus’

Following his standout releases ‘Jeez’ and ‘Locked’ this year, rising artist Hendrix Harris unveils his stunning five-track EP ‘Horus. This comes after the announcement that most recent single ‘The Hill’ will feature on the official FIFA 2022 soundtrack alongside the likes of Little Simz and Pa Salieu.

Half-French, half-English of Jamaican heritage, Hendrix has appeared into the ether as a compelling, uniquely textured artist and Horus emerges as a fiery nod to his expansive musical influences – each track entwining soulful R&B melodies with bass-driven trap instrumentals, woven between layers of funk and hip-hop tropes. Horus provides a vivid glimpse into Hendrix’s world, with narratives of broken romances, seductive encounters and jealousy-fuelled betrayals.

Soundtracking the midnight hour, focus track ‘Brother’ features Hendrix’s intoxicating vocals balanced with a polished rap ability for a constantly shifting mix that mirrors his sleek and diffuse persona.
