RealYungPhil Shares New Mixtape “Dr. Philvinci” & “Everything We Need” Video

RealYungPhil has just shared his new mixtape Dr. Philvinci with an accompanying music video for “Everything We Need”. The 15-track project was entirely co-produced by Phil’s frequent collaborators, SURF GANG founder EvilGiane and Soundcloud maestro Dylvinci––giving Phil a sea of tuneful melodies, chopped-up samples, and soulful instrumentation to couple with his signature style. The makeup of Phil’s sound is a combination of a controlled and nonchalant flow, mixed with high-brow braggadocios lyrics, resulting in a flair entirely its own. Standout tracks like “Ain’t Real” show the full pallet of Phil’s abilities, finding him in unique rhyming pockets and cadences and expanding his already developed repertoire. On “Everything We Need”, an ingenious flip of the Kanye West track by the same name, Phil delivers a song that’s undeniably catchy and wholeheartedly impressive––a vibe he carries throughout the entirety of the project. The visuals for the track were filmed in Paris and were shot by a fan Phil encountered during his last trip to France, a testament to the global appeal of his music. “Stay High”, another highlight on the tape, shows EvilGiane & Phil completely transforming Tove Lo’s 2014 hitinto an indistinguishable modern-day rap record. The tape also features verses from Phil’s close-knit associates, including SURF GANG members POLO PERKS, Moh Baretta & Pasto Flocco, BoofPaxkMooky, 1600J, and more.
