International Artist n0trixx Communicates with Fans Using Dark Trap and Multiple Personalities

LATVIA - They say that everything good comes from darkness. For n0trixx, everything stops in the dark.

“I’ve met death quite a few times over my life,” said n0trixx. “It’s dark, and that’s of the utmost importance to me. I learned that I could only create things through the darkness. I don’t look for lyrics. They come to me. My music has very diverse topics and being hurt by someone combined with negative emotions and death.”

As a Russian native protesting the military action against Ukraine, n0trixx is an international star on the rise. With 5k monthly listeners after three months, she has found her lane with dark trap. Setting herself further apart from other artists, n0trixx is the dark side of the artist’s split-personality. 

“I’m a very rare incident of an artist having two personalities which means I live a double life. I have a totally different person living in the same body. There is very little argument going on, and we manage to read between each other,” she explained.

n0trixx says every song begins with lyrics followed by the beat she creates. Influenced by artists like Korn and Slipknot, n0trixx’s music relates to current dark trap artists like Ghostmane and $uicideboy$.

However, she is a female artist making waves and getting noticed in the male-dominated industry. Her upcoming release will blow up the dark trap world with jaw-dropping lyrics and a graphic music video.

The single “NDBCGFT (Narcissistic Dickhead Bloggers Can Go F*ck Themselves) is n0trixx’s reaction to trash streaming, which is a current phenomenon in the Russian-speaking communities. Trash streaming appears on YouTube as content creators violate and torture a live rabbit in real-time.

“This is the strongest track I ever wrote because it comes from me. ‘NDBCGFT’ condemns trash streaming,” she explained. “What made me so emotional and made me write the song is that a girl died during a stream. The streamer filmed her corpse behind his body and hyped that fact. It just made me sick to my stomach, and I couldn’t stand it anymore.”

Letting her emotions guide her lyrics, n0trixx wrote the single “to take revenge and let the victim speak through my words,” she said. “Through my song, she’s saying to this guy that she will never leave him alone and always will be haunting him. Even though he’s in jail, she will continue to haunt him behind bars. This is my way of condemning this movement.”

Dropping on April 2, the music video illustrates her poignant lyrics further. “I wanted to show the antagonist as the viewer because the YouTube viewers are culprits in this process because they encourage it,” she said. “The viewers are played by a mannequin watching all this happen to the girl and participates in the tortures.”

As the story progresses, the victim breaks out of the ropes and begins to haunt her tormentor mentally - not physically. She is freed from the torture and displays her strength by punishing the mannequin.

As an independent singer/songwriter and producer, n0trixx said, “My mission is to help someone going through emotional stress and mental issues. They can go through their emotions and survive. Music helps with it. I’ve been through that when I was 14, and now my mission is to help others do the same.”

With explicit lyrics and images, n0trixx makes a profound statement for the world to see and hear - and this is just the beginning.
