BEVERLY HILLS - Stallionaires Pooch is no stranger to millions of worldwide fans. Featured on multiple red carpets and in media outlets such as Hot New Hip Hop, E-News, TMZ, Entertainment Tonight, and Hollywood Life, Pooch is setting his sights on the music industry. There is no stopping his powerhouse talent.
Born in southeast Washington D.C., Pooch is a familiar face onscreen, appearing on Basketball Wives of LA and What the Funny with Marlon Waynes, and a musical threat as a well-known rapper and singer/songwriter. While the industry places Pooch into the hip hop genre, his music cannot be boxed into one category.
“My music is universal. I do all genres of music, and it sounds nothing like where I’m from,” Pooch said. “It’s every style, R&B, blues, hip hop, reggae, country, and more all mixed into one. Each of my songs is unique and in its own body of work. You’re really listening to art.”
As a master storyteller, Pooch adds an addictive melody to fuse with his cutting-edge lyrics and impeccable delivery. With more than 8,000 songs waiting to be released, the musical Picasso is poised to take the industry by storm. His latest single, “You See Me,” is an example of blending multiple genres to create his unique lane.
“You See Me” is a pop song with hip hop and R&B elements getting attention as Pooch prepares to take over the industry. Inspired by a visit to a club, the song describes Pooch’s efforts to get the attention of a young lady in the club.
“I’m flexing and showing off as if I was a peacock during mating season. I’m showing her my feathers,” he quipped. “I’m showing off to impress her and let her know not all guys will take her for granted.”
Preparing for a busy 2022, Pooch is gearing up to release three new projects, “Tiffany,” a pop EP, “Larry,” a hip hop and R&B album, and “Blue Collar,” a country album.
While Pooch has been linked to a famous Hollywood Tiffany, he confirmed the EP with 16 tracks is more like a movie than merely a group of songs. The concept EP includes various scenarios and stories from his time with Tiffany. However, Pooch focuses on the music and not his personal life - which is evident by the high quality and artistry of storytelling packed in the EP.
“Larry” gives fans a different side of Pooch, as it chronicles his rough and tough side. Packed with intros and outros, Pooch describes the album as “a bad version of me. I was a rebel in my younger days, always showing off my worst behavior.” Picture dazzling diamonds, expensive cars, and cocky lyrics, and you have “Larry,” which is guaranteed to be a hardcore record playing in all the clubs.
Recording under his brand Saddle Game Entertainment, Pooch provides a refreshing and unique sound with its blend of charming melodic hooks with a layered production style that makes a great addition to all genres of music. “I don’t focus on one thing,” he explained. “I make inspirational and feel-good records. My delivery sounds good where I can be talking about completely nothing, but the melody just takes over. I just say it in a certain way and tone that it sounds so dope and hard.”
