MusicWeek Staff: Who are your biggest musical influences? In what way did they influence you?
SKGLIZZII: 
Future JCole Tory Lanez Kevin Gates. It’s the ambition and determination nd never ending grind to stay relevant and stay on top.
 
MusicWeek Staff: What story behind the song "I Need Somebody”?
SKGLIZZII: 
I was incarcerated for almost 2years for a murder charge I didn’t commit with little to no evidence in Fayetteville NC and in the process my mother had died and a sister and 2 best friends. I couldn’t go to no funerals or nothing. I was treated like a animal the whole process and felt alone and forgotten. So one day this song came to my head nd it was the first song I recorded when I came home and it took off after that.
 
MusicWeek Staff: How did you describe your process of creating "I Need Somebody" compared to your other song?
SKGLIZZII: 
Undescribable pain but a major relief from it.
 
MusicWeek Staff: With every project comes a challenge, Can you tell us a time were you faces obstacles when creating this music video? How did you handle it?
SKGLIZZII: 
Just making sure the right message came across when watching it. The team came together so we handled it as one.
 
MusicWeek Staff: Name a time when your patience in making your video tested.
SKGLIZZII: 
I don’t think I have one YET,
 
MusicWeek Staff: In your experience, what is the key to developing a good team?
SKGLIZZII: 
RESPECT, GUIDE, LOYALTY, ONE MINDED, ONE LOVE.
 
MusicWeek Staff: Do you think you could get any better as an artist? And if so, how would you achieve that?
SKGLIZZII: 
Yes you will always get better at whatever you do because you can never stop learning but you only reach that through dedication staying focused and never giving up.
 
MusicWeek Staff: Your song "I Need Somebody", did you wis you had done something differently? Or have you changed as a person and would change styles/lyrics now?
SKGLIZZII: 
No I wouldn’t change anything about that song till this day is my favorite song. i’m growing wiser learning how to deal with situations and circumstances a lot better and becoming more versatile with my music.
 
MusicWeek Staff: If you could pass on a nugget of wisdom t the next musical generation, what would it be?
SKGLIZZII: 
Stay focus stay driven never give up and you could be whatever you want to be as long ass practice practice practice.
