Nicole Huff Brings Early-2000s Dance-Pop Back to Life with New Single “Entice Me Baby”

Toronto, ON — Actress, singer, dancer, and entrepreneur Nicole Huff is making waves in the music world with her new single “Entice Me Baby,” featured on her debut EP Who We Are. With its nostalgic 2000s dance-pop energy, the track showcases Nicole’s multifaceted talent and her passion for performance, blending infectious melodies with dynamic harmonies that highlight her artistic range.

“‘Entice Me Baby’ gives 2000s vibes. It was kind of the early 2000s vibe I was going for,” Nicole shares. “I grew up watching Britney and listening, so when I found out that my producer had worked with her, I was like, ‘Oh, this is meant to be.’ When my co-writer and I were brainstorming songs, I wanted one that had that early 2005, ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ kind of inspiration. The lyrics for ‘Entice Me Baby’ just came to me, I’ve never really heard anybody say that in music before, and I wanted something I could dance to because I love to dance and perform.”

The song demonstrates Nicole’s love for intricate musical layers and her ability to bring them to life. “I love adding harmonies and ad-libs,” she explains. “I don’t just want to sing the song from beginning to end. Figuring out what those layers were going to be and what matched was my favorite part. I wanted to challenge myself with that, and when you hear it after adding harmonies and ad-libs, it really all comes together and sounds full, and I love that full sound.”

This release follows Nicole’s creative rendition of Britney Spears’ “I Got That Boom Boom” and the emotional ballad “Come to You,” both featured on Who We Are. Working with renowned producer Roy Hamilton III, who has collaborated with artists such as Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, and Justin Timberlake, Nicole was able to bring her vision to life: “It was amazing. Once we started creating, things moved quickly for some songs, though the first few took time because of school and COVID. But once you make the first few, the rest come quicker.”

Nicole’s musical journey reflects her lifelong dedication to the arts. “I like both acting and singing. I wouldn’t be happy doing just one; I need to be doing all of it,” she says. Balancing music with acting, dancing, and her entrepreneurial ventures hasn’t been easy, but Nicole sees it as part of her creative rhythm. “When I’m not filming, I make music. When I’m busy filming, music comes after that. I take what comes and make time for everything depending on what’s happening.”

Her multicultural background also influences her artistry. “With the Filipino side, they’re so passionate and love to sing karaoke and dance. I got that from my mom’s side. With my dad’s side, Canadian, German, and French culture shaped me watching American and Canadian TV. Both influences helped shape who I am and what I want to become,” Nicole reflects.

Beyond music, Nicole is committed to nurturing the next generation through her NSH Arts & French Learning Centre for Kids. “I love the idea of kids enjoying their childhood and how art helps that. They are our next generation, and art helps them grow, feel confident, and find ways to cope with life. This allows me to help them while pursuing my own dreams.”

Looking ahead, Nicole is focused on sharing her music with a wider audience. “I’d love to perform, maybe have my own concert, and explore opportunities like J-Lo did with music, movies, and TV. I want to perform my music in front of lots of people and share it with the world.”
