Travis Kelce Appears on Stage With Chris Lake in Los Angeles

Travis Kelce appeared to be fully enjoying himself as he danced along to the music and hyped up a crowd of more than 20,000 people at Chris Lake’s L.A. Historic Park show, presented by Goldenvoice and Framework on Friday night (June 19).

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who is engaged to Travis Kelce’s fiancée Taylor Swift, attended night one of Lake’s two night sold out run at Los Angeles State Historic Park. A source told Billboard that Kelce was seated at a VIP table alongside teammates and friends before later joining Chris Lake onstage and grabbing the microphone.

Lake also has a direct musical connection to Swift, having previously remixed her Life of a Showgirl track “Opalite.”

In clips shared on Instagram by concertgoers @mightrave and @bodybybina, Kelce can be seen onstage trying to energise the audience before letting out a loud scream over the sound system.

Another video posted by Framework, the co producer of the event alongside Goldenvoice, shows Kelce jumping and dancing enthusiastically beside Lake while bubbles filled the air around them.

Swift was not present at the event with her fiancé, and reports suggested she was spending a girls weekend with friends at her Watch Hill property in Westerly, Rhode Island on Saturday. The couple, meanwhile, appear to be heading toward marriage soon, with fans speculating after comments linked to Zohran Mamdani that the pair may be planning a Fourth of July wedding in New York City. A city official later clarified that Mamdani’s remarks were based on a TMZ report claiming Swift had applied for a Madison Square Garden permit for the July 4 weekend.

Lake’s Los Angeles show on Friday also featured support sets from Ayybo, Ragie Ban and Kitty. Saturday’s lineup, again headlined by Lake, included Hot Since 82, Club de Combat and Strawbry.

Lake reimagined Swift’s pop track “Opalite” into a club focused remix earlier in January after connecting with Kelce via Instagram direct message. Kelce reportedly told him that his 2025 album Chemistry was among his favourites. Discussing his approach to Swift’s song, Lake told Billboard in March that he had to work out how to combine the “vibe and the sentiment of the song with the beats from my world, and make [the remix] make sense as something that would fit amongst other songs from my world without it standing out like a sore thumb.”

“Pretty much 99.9% of all the music I’ve ever played or made in my life is with minor chords,” Lake said. “To work with a vocal that wasn’t written to be used that way was really challenging. That’s the bit I’m actually the most happy with… If you listen to the original and to the feel of how her chorus comes in, it’s very happy and uplifting, whereas in the remix, I don’t know what emotion you’d call it, but maybe it’s sort of hauntingly emotive. It makes you feel a completely different way. Then the way it launches into the drop, I haven’t done that on a remix before. I’m really proud of it.”
