Music's Week: What inspired you to pursue a career in music, and what keeps you motivated to keep creating?
G Thrilla: Music was always like a therapy to me what inspired me is having a passion for music motivating myself for the love I have for music.What keeps me going is my vision I hear the sound of my voice while I’m making music and all the things I’ve been through in my life.
Music's Week: Can you tell us about your songwriting process? Do you have a specific approach or do you let the song come together organically?
G Thrilla: I just be writing whatever comes to my head ,I don’t really try to think to much but when. I do it’s to a beat/instrumental that I really like that will have you thinking and i like to freestyle sometimes on my tracks because I’m really nice like that.
Music's Week: Your latest single/album has received a lot of buzz. What was the creative process like for that project, and what were you trying to convey with your music?
G Thrilla: To be honest all of this is just natural I just woke up one day and said Tom myself I want to release a ep and release on all platforms to see what response I get from the world , my peers and etc.
Music's Week: Who are some of your biggest influences, and how have they shaped your sound and style?
G Thrilla: Nicki influenced me to not the give up on music.
Music's Week: What's the most memorable experience you've had as a musician so far? Was it a particular show, collaboration, or moment that stands out to you?
G Thrilla: I don’t really know how to answer that everything is memorable moment for me when I’m in studio just a movie.
Music's Week: How do you balance staying true to your artistic vision with the demands of the music industry?
G Thrilla: I do whatever I want and not to say on some crazy shit but whatever I have planned out or any music I want to drop I’m going to do it when I feel like it or when I want to, but on some business level I could meet to arrangement of something.
Music's Week: Can you walk us through your preparation process before a show? Do you have any pre-show rituals or superstitions?
G Thrilla: I don’t do nothing I do not have no preparation it comes natural I bring my energy.
Music's Week: What's one thing that you're most proud of in your music or career so far? Why is it significant to you?
G Thrilla: Im versatile I can switch my flows and my genre of music.
Music's Week: Looking ahead to the future, what's next for you? Are there any upcoming projects or collaborations that you're excited about?
G Thrilla: Yes I just want to inspire my fans my peers my family and my self I’m going to keep dropping until I feel like I want to stop but I got a lot of things coming just wait on it.
Music's Week: If you could collaborate with any artist (living or dead) on a song, who would it be and why? What do you think you could learn from them, and what would the song be about?
G Thrilla: Notorious BIG ,Rihanna,Dj Drama,Lik Durk,Snoop. Dog. Nicki. I just know if I was on a record with all one of them it would’ve been fire.
