These celebrities have the right to remain silent!
Sabrina Carpenter wrapped up the U.S. leg of her popular Short n’ Sweet tour in support of her recent her Billboard 200-topping sixth studio album in Los Angeles on Monday night (Nov. 18), and amid the hilarious bits she sprinkles throughout the show is a viral one that occurs right before she performs her frisky hit, “Juno.”
During the gimmick, she and her dancers scan the crowd before “arresting” a guest for being “too hot,” before handing them a pair of fuzzy pink handcuffs. While many of the arrested guests are lucky fans at the show, there have been a handful of times that Carpenter has arrested a celebrity — including an Saturday Night Live fan-favorite character.
Carpenter will next hit the road in March for a European leg of Short n’ Sweet dates. The tour kicked off in March following the “Feather” artist’s stint on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Before she continues her tour, the 25-year-old pop star will be headed to the Grammy Awards, where she’s nominated for best new artist. Additionally, Short n’ Sweet is up for album of the year and best pop vocal album, while the album’s lead single “Espresso” is nominated for record of the year and best pop solo performance, while “Please Please Please” is up for song of the year.
To celebrate Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet tour and all the hot people who attended, we’ve compiled a list of the celebrities put under “arrest” at the show. Check it out below.
“I’m really distracted right now because I see this gorgeous girl,” Carpenter said during the show according to fan footage of the incident at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
“I’ve fallen and I can’t get up. This girl is so hot. Who are you, what is your name?” she asked as the screens cut to Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown in the audience, with the actress caught in a kiss cam-style digital frame that read “you’re under arrest for being too hot” as she mugged for the camera and laughed.
Brown mouthed her name as flashing red and blue cop lights lit up the stage. “Millie? Millie, I’ve never fallen in love at a concert before but stranger things have happened,” Carpenter said in a nod to Brown’s day job; Netflix’s smash paranormal drama, Stranger Things.
Marcello Hernandez as Domingo
During the second night of her shows at Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, Carpenter called on Domingo, the Saturday Night Live character played by Marcello Hernandez who went viral in a sketch to the tune of Carpenter’s “Espresso.”
“My name’s Domingo,” Hernandez said from the crowd, telling Carpenter, “I’m from Miami, baby.” She coyly replies, “I wish you were from my bedroom.”
Hernandez then makes a reference to Short n’ Sweet cut, “Bed Chem,” by noting, “I’m the cute boy with the blue jacket and the thick accent.”
“Is there anything you want to say before I arrest you, Domingo?” Carpenter asks, before he plays off lyrics from the original SNL sketch: “Came all this way had to explain direct from Domingo/ Sabrina’s a friend, she’s like my sis… but I would hook up though.”

Jack Antonoff & Margaret Qualley
At the final U.S. stop of the tour at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Antonoff — who collaborated with Carpenter on much of her Billboard 200-topping sixth studio album — appeared on screen during the segment. “This is super awkward,” Carpenter joked, as captured by fan videos. “I’m sure you’re probably really good at [producing]. In fact, I’m so confident you could produce someone even hotter than you.”
That’s when the cameras panned over to Qualley, who is married to the Bleachers star. “This right there, ladies and gentlemen, this is a hottie with substance,” Carpenter said, referencing Qualley’s new movie, The Substance. “Whoever made you, God bless them. God bless your genetics.”
