Aespa have joined forces with G-DRAGON of BigBang for their brand new single ‘WDA (Whole Different Animal)’ while also unveiling details about their upcoming album.
The K-pop group are preparing to release their second full length album LEMONADE on May 29 through SM Entertainment (pre-order/pre-save here). According to the group, the record will highlight “the group’s expanded musical range across electronic dance, hip-hop, rock, and R&B pop”.
To mark the announcement, the group dropped the album’s first preview track, WDA (Whole Different Animal), blending pounding rhythmic production with slick synth driven melodies. The track also features G-DRAGON delivering verses throughout the song, confidently declaring: “She a whole different animal”.
Alongside the single, the group also released a surreal and visually distorted music video where the members continuously morph and blend into one another. Watch the video below:
Aespa are also getting ready to launch their ‘COMPLæXITY’ world tour, which begins on August 7 with a two night residency at Gocheok Sky Dome.
Following the Asian dates, the group will close out that leg with a concert at Taipei Dome before heading to Latin America, where the next stop will be São Paulo on September 4.
After completing the US run, Aespa will arrive in the UK and Europe in January 2027. The European leg opens with a performance at AO Arena on January 14, followed by a major London show at The O2 on January 16. The tour will continue through Europe before wrapping up at Accor Arena.
Tickets are currently available, with UK tickets on sale here and US tickets available here. Full tour dates can be found below:

Elsewhere, we previously spoke with the group last September, where member NingNing reflected on the group’s mindset moving forward.
“We always have high expectations and look forward to something, but it doesn’t always come true,” she shared. “So instead of focusing on that, we want to always deliver what’s best and also try very hard and keep that positive energy within us. If we do that, we can then achieve more than expected and get what we don’t even expect in the future.”
